Four steps from a profile to a paycheck

    Create your crew profile

    Trades, skills, service areas, crew size and photos of your work. Confirm your email and you have enough Nails for your first bid; get verified and you have enough for five.

    Find the right jobs

    Browse open jobs by trade and location, save a search and get alerts when a match is posted. Every job shows its pay and its bid cost in Nails before you spend anything.

  3. 3

    Send a proposal

    Your price, start date, approach and answers to the GC's screening questions. An invited bid is free. A boost to stand out is optional, never required.

  4. 4

    Win and get paid

    The GC sends an offer with the scope and terms; accept it and the engagement starts. A PEO employs you on W-2 with workers' comp and a pay stub: the GC pays the PEO and the PEO pays you. PieceRates never takes a cut.

Compliance in plain words

Verified once, shown everywhere

  • Get verified: upload your license, insurance and workers' comp if your company carries them. Your status shows as a labeled badge, and GCs see it before they award.
  • Crew workers are employed and paid W-2 by the PEO. An established crew company that clears the compliance gate can work under its own coverage instead.
  • After a job completes, the GC can review your crew: one review per GC per job, tied to real work, never bought.

What's a Nail?

Can a GC also find work as a crew?

Yes. A GC who also does the work can switch to their crew profile, find jobs, and bid with Nails, earning crew rewards too.
